Anne Trefethen
Anne Trefethen is a Professor of Scientific Computing and Director of the e-Research Centre at Oxford University. Her career has spanned both industry and academia, including ten years in the USA, where she worked for Thinking Machines Corp and at the Theory Centre, Cornell University. Before coming to Oxford, Anne was a Director of the UK e-Science Core Programme. Anne's research work has focused on high-performance computing and data intensive science and among her current interests is the design of the digital infrastructure for the next generation radio telescope, the Square Kilometre Array.
