Liauw Toong Tjiek (aka. Aditya Nugraha) is currently the Head of Library of Petra Christian University in Surabaya, Indonesia. He was President (2010) of the Forum for Indonesian Higher Education Libraries - East Java Chapter, and is the current President (2009-) of the Indonesian Christian Higher Education Libraries Communication Forum.

He initiated various digital library projects at Petra Christian University such as Digital Theses, Surabaya Memory (digital heritage), Petra@rt Gallery, and Petra Chronicle.

His article, titled "Desa Informasi: The Role of Digital Libraries in the Preservation and Dissemination of Indigenous Knowledge," was the 1st Place Winner of the 2006 International Paper Contest conducted by ASIST (American Society for Information Science and Technology). He has also published a book chapter titled "Institutional Repositories: Facilitating Structure, Collaborations, Scholarly Communications, and Institutional Visibility" in IN-TECH, an open access publisher.

He is actively involved in the Library Task Force under the Directorate General of Higher Education (Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia) and speaks in various forums on digital libraries, institutional repositories, and digital heritage. He is also a founding member and researcher at CCIS (Center for Chinese Indonesian Studies) at Petra Christian University.
