Arnoud de Kemp


Arnoud de Kemp is one of those Dutch messengers, who worked all his life for international science publishers. From 1984, when he moved to Berlin, until 2004 he worked for Springer-Verlag, with global responsibility for sales, marketing and licensing of all media. He was personally involved in many German and international R&D projects. SpringerLink was thus born in the MeDoC Project. Arnoud de Kemp started the now renowned APE - Academic Publishing in Europe - Conferences in 2006. He is the Publisher of the Akademische Verlagsgesellschaft AKA in Heidelberg. He is a well-known communicator and speaker and has honorary served a variety of associations and societies. Among others he is member of the International STM Association, IFLA, Gesellschaft für Informatik and the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Informationswissenschaft und Informationspraxis (DGI).
