Ammy Vogtlander is currently Director Search for Elsevier's strategy
group and is responsible for the development and execution of Elsevier's
Search plans. Prior to this, Ammy worked as Head of Scirus responsible for
developing new concepts and market strategies for Scirus, Elsevier's
free science-specific search engine and managing the team's day-to-day
activities. Before joining Elsevier, Ammy worked as a senior strategy
consultant at a Dutch consulting firm, Boer & Croon, where she
assisted clients in developing and executing Internet strategies. Ammy started
her career at AMS, an American IT consultancy, where she served as a
project manager and senior architect working on large-scale billing and
customer care projects for telecom operators. Ammy holds a MSc in Physics from
the University of Groningen.
