Searching Scholarly Literature: A Google Scholar Perspective


Google Scholar is a fresh look at the traditional problems of discovering and accessing scholarly literature. It is currently being used by researchers all over the world. I will describe the general principles that underly its design and the key challenges that we faced. I will also describe our collaborations with libraries to increase visibility of their vast repositories.
